Frequently Asked Questions
What time should I arrive? ▾
Please arrive from 12:30 and be seated by 12:45. The ceremony begins promptly at 13:00 — we want everyone settled before we walk in!
What's the dress code? ▾
Smart / wedding guest. Wear whatever makes you feel your best — autumn colours are warmly encouraged. Comfortable shoes are a good idea too, as there will be plenty of dancing.
Can I bring children? ▾
Please check your invitation to see whether children are included. If you're unsure, get in touch via the Contact page and we'll clarify.
What about dietary requirements? ▾
Please let us know on your RSVP or via the Menu page pre-order form. We'll make sure you're very well looked after.
Is there parking at the venue? ▾
Yes, on-site parking is available at Lord Haldon Country Hotel. Please consider car sharing where possible — full parking details on the Venue & Travel page.
Will photos be shared afterwards? ▾
Yes! We'll share a link on the Gallery page after the wedding so you can view and download your favourite photos from the celebration.
Can I take photos during the ceremony? ▾
We'd love an unplugged ceremony so our photographer can capture every moment. Please put phones away during the ceremony. For the rest of the day, snap away!
Are there hotels nearby? ▾
The hotel has rooms available — we recommend booking early. There are also options in Exeter city centre. Full details on the Venue & Travel page.
